rrpp “ La Fitness on West Lake (previously Pure Fitness) is an absolutely terrible club. The machines are dirty (no one uses towels, so your clothes act to soak up the last persons sweat) and not serviced regularly. The club is very dirty with dust bunnies being a common sighting. The staff are not very helpful, either feeling too cool to help out or just plain not interested.

We had been members of this club for over 2 years (what were we thinking) because of it's location and very cheap price. Finally, it has just gotten unbearable and working out is no longer fun. Quitying has been a chore as their policies are not as on the contract so becareful what you sign, and even then, what was on our contract was not the procedure we were forced to take.

The positives of the club: location--close to home. Price (but even at 24/month, no longer worth it). Empty--no wait for most machines.

If you are contemplating joining this gym, I would run the other way. If you are really wanting to join, see if you can get a week free to actually experience the filth for yourself and then decide. ”
